Interim notice, version 0.11, 18 Oct 2026, pending FORE's final text

This notice describes how the website works today. FORE is preparing the final text; when it is approved it will replace this page, and the version and date above will change.

The School of Vedic Sciences teaches Jyotish as a classical knowledge system: a subject to be studied, with its texts, methods and history.

No predictions

Nothing on this site is a prediction about your life, a forecast of events or a guarantee of any outcome. Charts, reports and explanations show what the classical method says about a set of positions, so that you can study it.

No advice

Nothing here is medical, legal, financial, psychological, marriage or career advice. For decisions in those areas, consult a qualified professional.

No remedies

The School does not sell or recommend gemstones, rituals, mantras, yantras or any other remedy, and nothing on the site claims to cure or prevent any condition.

Kundli matching

The matching tool shows how the Ashtakoota method scores two charts, as the texts describe it. It is a study of the method, not a judgement about whether two people should marry.

Calculations and written explanations

Positions are calculated from the NASA JPL ephemeris with the Lahiri ayanamsa. Traditions and almanacs differ in their conventions, so results can differ from other sources.

Some explanatory paragraphs are drafted by a language model from the calculated chart and checked by automated rules. They may contain mistakes.

The programme

The programme is an educational course. It does not license anyone to practise and does not promise any outcome. Certificate wording will be published once FORE confirms it.
