Mithuna

Mithuna (Gemini, 'the pair') is the third rasi, 60°–90° of the sidereal zodiac. It is a dual (dvisvabhāva), airy, odd sign ruled by Mercury; no graha has its classical exaltation here, though some later authors place Rāhu's exaltation in it. In the kālapuruṣa scheme it corresponds to the arms and shoulders.
