Budha

Budha, Mercury, is the prince among the grahas in BPHS. It rules Mithuna and Kanyā, is exalted in Kanyā and debilitated in Mīna, and never strays more than about 28° from the Sun, so it often shares the Sun's sign. The texts treat it as benefic or malefic according to the grahas it joins; its Vimśottarī daśā lasts seventeen years.
