Yoni kūṭa
योनिकूट
Everyday Hindi: योनि कूट
Fourth koota (4 points): animal symbols assigned to nakshatras.
Definition
Yoni kūṭa carries four points. Each nakshatra is assigned one of fourteen animal yonis, each in a male and a female form: horse, elephant, sheep, serpent, dog, cat, rat, cow, buffalo, tiger, deer, monkey, mongoose and lion. The score is highest for the same yoni and lowest for pairs the manuals list as natural enemies, such as cat and rat or serpent and mongoose.
