Nāḍī kūṭa

Nāḍī kūṭa carries the largest weight, eight points. The nakshatras are assigned in a zigzag sequence to three nāḍīs, ādi, madhya and antya, which some manuals align with vāta, pitta and kapha. The same nāḍī for both scores zero (nāḍī doṣa) and different nāḍīs score eight, and the manuals list exceptions, for example the same nakshatra in different pādas.
