Definition
Śukra, Venus, is the preceptor of the asuras and the second minister among the grahas. It rules Vṛṣabha and Tulā, is exalted in Mīna and debilitated in Kanyā, and is the natural kāraka of the seventh house. Its Vimśottarī daśā lasts twenty years.
