Vṛṣabha

Vṛṣabha (Taurus, 'the bull') is the second rasi, 30°–60° of the sidereal zodiac. It is a fixed (sthira), earthy, even sign ruled by Venus; the Moon is exalted in it, with its mūlatrikoṇa in the rest of the sign. In the kālapuruṣa scheme it corresponds to the face.
