Kalatra bhāva (Jāyā, Yuvati bhāva)

The seventh house is called kalatra or jāyā ('spouse') and yuvati. The texts assign to it the marriage partner, business partnerships, agreements and dealings with others, and it stands directly opposite the Lagna. It is a kendra; Venus is its natural kāraka.
