Fourth house: mother, home, land, vehicles and inner contentment.
Definition
The fourth house is called sukha ('happiness'), bandhu ('kin') or mātṛ bhāva. BPHS assigns to it the mother, the dwelling, land, vehicles, relatives and peace of mind. The Moon is its kāraka for the mother, and among the four kendras it is the one corresponding to the nadir.
