Dṛṣṭi

Dṛṣṭi ('sight') is the aspect a graha casts. In the Parāśarī scheme every graha fully aspects the seventh house from itself, while Mars also aspects the 4th and 8th, Jupiter the 5th and 9th, and Saturn the 3rd and 10th (viśeṣa dṛṣṭi). Jaimini uses a separate sign-to-sign aspect (rāśi dṛṣṭi), in which movable signs aspect the fixed signs other than the adjacent one, and so on.
