Maṅgala (Kuja, Bhauma)

Maṅgala (also Kuja or Bhauma, 'son of the Earth') is the commander among the grahas in BPHS. It rules Meṣa and Vṛścika, is exalted in Makara and debilitated in Karka, and besides the seventh it casts special aspects on the fourth and eighth houses from itself. Its Vimśottarī daśā lasts seven years.
