Sahaja bhāva

The third house is called sahaja ('born with', that is, siblings) or bhrātṛ bhāva, and also parākrama, 'valour'. The texts assign to it younger siblings, courage, initiative, the hands and communication. Mars is its natural kāraka; it is both an upachaya and an āpoklima house.
